Become a Yogi Warrior. Embody your heartfelt intentions and be a sharer of this life practice.

An experience beyond any other, this unique training provides smaller groups for more attention and intention as you live and learn your yoga practice…

In this training, you will learn how to teach the ancient practice of Yoga from a trauma-informed framework to encourage a healing and embodied approach to the practice. What recent graduates are saying…

Why trauma informed yoga?

Trauma informed teaching is more than not using triggering language – it’s repeatedly signalling through words and actions that there’s a safe, reliable, welcoming container for all people to join in practicing yoga.

The skills and understanding you gain from training in trauma informed yoga are valuable far beyond teaching yoga. It has positively affected all relationships in my life, from parenting to friendship to partnering. And it has offered a new perspective for making sense of the world and what it means to be human.

The probability of having trauma survivors in any given yoga class is very high, and it’s unlikely that you’ll know them or their stories. Teaching from a trauma informed perspective increases likelihood that everyone in a class can access the benefits of yoga, and isn’t that why you want to teach?

“Thanks for sharing your wisdom, grace, and all-out grooviness with us. I feel like our training was thorough and complete. My curiosity was satisfied; at the same time it was lit on fire. I will keep learning and exploring yoga philosophy, asana, pranayama, meditation.

YTT is one of the coolest things I have ever done. It kicked my ass, physically and emotionally, and brought me great joy. I feel like I have a new tribe, and I have a greater appreciation for my long-standing tribe. I am full of love and gratitude. Thank you!” – A.M., RYT Soul Tree graduating class 2020
