Julie Mitchell loves to laugh! She is inspired to share the continuous journey of unfolding the lightheartedness of life within each of her classes. She is a yogi, a RYT, mat Pilates instructor, high school science teacher. She has been practicing yoga for over 15 years, delving into the richness andintuitive support that yoga offers. She received her 200 hour yoga training at Soul Tree Studios in 2012, blending her teaching background into her yoga and barre classes; weaving humor and compassion into her accessible teaching style and down-to-earth sequences. Each class Julie approaches with a fresh view, inspired to provide space where students are challenged and encouraged to find gratitude, awareness, balance, and humor in each pose and class. She has a unique ability to develop practices that bring out the lightness and presence in each student, making everyone feel welcome. Outside of the studio, Julie enjoys running with her amazing dog Maggie, devoting time to her jewelry making, hiking and spending time with her husband, family and friends. She also travels to NW Montana each summer where she swims, white water rafts, pretends to fly fish, hikes, and teaches “Piloga”.
